I had a reservation and was seated immediately, so the experience started off well. Unfortunately, the meal and service were disappointing overall. I ordered the salmon ceviche for 3,590 ISK. The portion was extremely small for the price, and the salmon had very little flavor. It was one of the worst salmon dishes I’ve had. See the picture for an accurate idea of the portion and what was served. I also ordered the lamb soup, but they initially brought me fish soup by mistake. They corrected it quickly, and the lamb soup was actually very good. Service was lacking. The dishes were simply placed on the table with almost no explanation, and nobody came back to check how the food was or whether I needed anything. We had a very enjoyable meal at Reykjavik Kitchen! The seafood is definitely the thing. My plaice was delicious and beautifully served, and my spouses arctic char was too. Very lively vibe, great server. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner
