We visited on the glowing recommendation of a friend Having ordered the 100% dark it arrived but was just under luke warm and I asked for it to be heated up. This request clearly annoyed the young barista as he became rude and started banging things around. He then loudly pronounced to our group: is there anyone else who wants their drink extra hot? (If this is an option why not ask beforehand) The young lady then remade my drink and it was presented nice and hot. However it tasted nothing like the first one because I dont think there was any or enough milk in it. And after the way they both behaved when I asked for my drink to be made warmer I wasn't going to point out the difference. My friends drinks were fine but they were also shocked at the unprofessional behaviour of the young man. I definitely wont be going back there and wont be recommending it. My friends who recommended Knnops Rye to us will also not be recommending it or going back there either.

Perfect every time, whether you’re a fan of your chocolate hot, iced or in a milkshake. We have been regular visitors since the first Knoops opened in Rye and Jens himself was running it and serving customers. While it is sad to no longer see him behind the counter and hear of his travels in search of incredible chocolate, the product standard is still second to none. I have visited other branches too and while service standards vary, the drinks are delicious across the board. There’s even mini versions for kids!

I would say nice hot chocolates but really terrible manners we were really excited but then to go into a hot chocolate place and have people be grumpy and moody really ruins your day…
