Wowowow! One of my new fave spots in LA!!! Super cute inside and the food is so bomb. It was the 3 of us that went and there were several moments where we barely talked cause we were too busy savoring every bite!!!! Highly recommend their calamansi honey drink. So refreshing! Food is made fresh to order and cannot emphasize how bomb every bite was. Already ready to be back!

Food - 4.75/5 Oh man this was so good. Though it's on pricier side of things for casual sit down it was worth it to me. We ordered the Lechon Kawali a la cart and the lucena chon kuya tray and everything was so delicious. The Lucena was so juicy and the skin of the pork was so crispy. The rice was so addictive and I'm determined to learn how to make the chami noodles (probably the most realistic thing next to the rice). The Lechon was also super delicious with and without the vinegar sauce. I loved how crispy it was though I have to admit that when chewing the skin it did get stuck in my teeth (but that's a little something for later/extra flavors for my next bite). Service - 5/5 The service was super quick and the staff was really friendly. Ambience- 4/5 This is a casual sit down spot with high top tables/bench but the interior was clean and tidy. I liked that they had a few shelves of their house sauces for sale but also showcasing other merch. The space is small so when it gets crowded do expect limited to no seating. Because of its location it's only street parking and that can be tough depending on the time of day. I'll be coming back again soon to try some other stuff off the menu(or maybe order the same thing again because it was just so good)

Kuya Lord in Los Angeles offers a delightful foray into Filipino cuisine, presenting dishes that are both flavorful and exquisitely prepared. The food is undeniably tasty, with a rich array of traditional Filipino flavors that make each bite a delightful experience. Signature dishes like locenachon and longtapsilog stand out for their impeccable seasoning and texture, making them crowd favorites. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality and presentation of the dishes justify the cost. The use of porcelain plates, trays, and cups adds an elegant touch to the dining experience, enhancing the overall ambiance and making each meal feel special. The only downside is the limited space. The restaurant’s cozy setting, while charming, can feel a bit cramped during peak hours. A larger space would undoubtedly elevate the dining experience, providing more comfort and accommodating more patrons eager to savor the delicious food. Despite the spatial constraints, Kuya Lord remains a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic and high-quality Filipino cuisine in Los Angeles. The combination of great food, thoughtful presentation, and friendly service ensures a memorable dining experience. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
