I have ordered many catered dinners from Lebtav Silver Spring for years! Bal consistently demonstrates outstanding customer service. Food is always delicious. I have never been disappointed by their shawarma, grapes leaves, fatayer. There are few places that can offer meals to diverse guests with food restrictions (halal, vegetarian, no seafood, etc) with such wonderful service, quality, and value. Food: 5 Service: 5

I’ve had a decent meal at this establishment before, but ordered take out yesterday and was very disappointed. My orders of the lamb and spiced rice “Ouzi Bowl,” and “Beef Shawarma” were awful. The lamb had the consistency of dental floss, dry and flavorless, as if the restaurant used old, low quality meat, overcooked it, neglected to spice it properly, then left it sitting around for a few days. I’ve eaten napkins that tasted better. The beef shawarma was similarly overcooked, dry and bland. The meals were altogether inedible and I’ve tossed most of it into the compost, apart from the hummus, which was actually quite delicious. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1
