Refine and delicious experience fully recommended with the wine pairing. My favorite dish, was the Tortellini al brodo. Such a simple dish, but filled with delicacy and depth of flavor. My least favorite was the Lamb cheek, to my taste, it needed more sauce to add flavor. I would’ve like an extra choice or one more dessert, for us the fruit lovers. Other than that, our waitress Lady was superb! Chef Lucca took the time to come over and have a little with us, overall a great experience. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: €100+

To preface this review, I live in New York City and have been to my share of expensive and Michelin restaurants. L'Erba del Re is at par with two Michelin star restaurants I have been to at a quarter of the price. If you are in Modena, you should eat here. If you are near Modena, you should eat here. If you are considering Modena for a trip, you should eat here. Amazing service, Amazing food, formal ambience with no dress code. It's everything you want in a meal without the pretentiousness.
