This was my first visit to Ukraine, and as someone visiting from the United States, I have to say that having lunch at Lugosh, with Ihor as our server, was the best hospitality experience I’ve had during my trip. Having dined extensively across both Europe and the United States, I’m familiar with every level of restaurant service, from exceptional to disappointing. It’s rare that I’m genuinely impressed, but Ihor managed to exceed my expectations. He struck the perfect balance between professional, attentive service and a warm, genuinely friendly approach—something that’s surprisingly difficult to achieve. We felt well taken care of without anything ever feeling forced or overly formal. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. Lugosh is a restaurant that clearly cares about both its food and its guests. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend visiting. This place deserves all the recognition and support it can get.
