After enjoying The Currency Museum of the Bank Al-Maghrib, visit this cafe which is not far away. Visitors highlight that they like the menu of French cuisine at Café La Comédie. Many people visit this place to try good bastilla, pasteles and soup. The truth is that you will really enjoy tasty mille-feuille, ice cream and parfait. Order delicious cappuccino or great juice.

The convenient location of this spot makes it easy to reach by any transport. The high ratings of this cafe would be impossible without the knowledgeable staff. A lot of people mention that the service is fine. From the guests' viewpoint, prices are affordable. There is a charming atmosphere and beautiful decor at Café La Comédie. But most clients who use Google didn't give this place a high rating.

I recently visited Café La Comédie on Avenue Mohammed V in Rabat, and overall, I would say that the experience was quite mixed. The café has a very attractive location and one of its biggest advantages is definitely the outdoor seating area. Sitting outside, especially when the weather is pleasant, gives the place a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. It is a great spot to sit back, have a coffee or something to eat, and watch the activity along Avenue Mohammed V. The outdoor setting creates a pleasant urban atmosphere that makes the café particularly appealing for people who enjoy sitting outside rather than being indoors. The location itself is convenient and easy to reach, which is another positive point. The outdoor terrace has a nice social atmosphere and can be a good place to meet friends, have a conversation, or simply spend some time in the city centre. For me, this was probably the strongest aspect of Café La Comédie. However, there are some important areas where the experience could be improved. The biggest issue during my visit was the service. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow, and there was a noticeable amount of waiting involved. Whether it was getting the order taken, receiving the drinks and food, or getting the attention of the staff, everything seemed to take longer than expected. When visiting a café, particularly one in such a central location, customers generally expect reasonably quick and attentive service. A more organised and responsive team would make a significant difference to the overall experience. Another point that I found disappointing was the pricing. In my opinion, the prices are exaggerated considering what is actually being offered. The location and terrace are certainly attractive, but the prices feel somewhat difficult to justify, especially when combined with the slow service. Paying a premium can be understandable when the quality, service, atmosphere, and overall experience are exceptional, but here I felt that the price-to-value ratio could be considerably better. That said, I don’t think Café La Comédie is without its strengths. The outdoor seating area genuinely gives the establishment a pleasant character, and I can understand why people are attracted to it. The atmosphere outside is much more enjoyable than simply focusing on the shortcomings of the service and pricing. With some improvements to staff efficiency and a more reasonable approach to pricing, the café could become a much stronger option in Rabat. Overall, I would describe Café La Comédie as a place with a great outdoor setting but an experience that needs improvement. The terrace and central location are definitely worth mentioning positively, but the slow service and exaggerated prices prevent me from considering it one of the best-value cafés in Rabat. I hope the management takes customer feedback seriously, because the café has good potential. Faster service, more attentive staff, and prices that better reflect the quality provided would make the experience much more satisfying. For now, I would mainly recommend it to people who particularly value the outdoor seating and atmosphere, while advising them to be prepared for slower service and relatively high prices.
