While the location and ambiance of La Focaccia are nice, the food itself is a different story. The buffalo mozzarella on my pizza had clearly not been properly strained, resulting in a soggy crust and a pizza dripping in milky liquid that left a pool on my plate. Also, the mushroom tagliatelle was overly garlicky and was swimming in a thoroughly unappetizing oil. Not recommended for diners looking for a quality slice of Roman cuisine.
