EVERY time I come in here I NEVER get acknowledged. I came in to pick up an order, per usual the ladies were talking amongst themselves. I unknowingly cut infront of another patron there before me. I apologized and asked if she was in line she stated she was and had been waiting for more than 5 min waiting to be helped. I honestly do believe it since I've experienced it before. I made eye contact with one of them and they went on to continue with their gossip that's all that was. Since they were speaking Spanish I asked if we could be helped one of them the one in red stated she was helping another patron I'm like yeah no you guys have completely ignored us. She gave me attitude and I left with my food. This needs to change. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

Their new dish, beef tips with parmesean potatoes, was very good. Thei Caesar salad is still nicely done along with the French onion soup. Though, 1 cruton in a small soup cup would have been sufficient. 2 is a bit too much. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Caesar Salad

Patrick Esquerre (founder, before he sold) must cringe as he sees how this, his original and flagship store, has sank to abysmal lows. Waited over 20 minutes for a takeout sandwich today (at a time when there was virtually no business). Staff member was an abrupt, unhelpful, uninterested girl who shouldn't be in a customer service role (browsing her mobile half the time). No sign of adult supervision. Lots of good sandwich places in Dallas, no need to go back here. RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: You expect me to repeat what I said to an anonymous minor front-line functionary? That makes my point about La Madeleine exactly. A faceless corporation in which no individual in management takes responsibility for anything, so why should floor-staff care? Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
