If you happen to be around Glenwood South, visit this bar. To try nicely cooked steak frites, belly pork and salads is a truly nice idea. You will definitely appreciate the exotic atmosphere and cute decor.

Simply AMAZING! Chef Kevin Ruiz and the team have an amazing Hispanic American fusion cuisine, funky decor, and great staff. If you don’t know, you don’t know. This is Raleigh’s new hot spot... hands down phenomenal.

We made a reservation today for 4 people. We were sat on time after a small wait. There were four of us. We waited 15 minutes to be greeted by a server, only after I took it upon myself to go up to the host stand and ask for our sever to come over and greet us.
By this point we had decided on everything we wanted. I had written down in a note on my phone everything we wanted to order so that I could hand it to the server and she could key it in on the device. We ordered our drinks and food all in one swipe.
Our food started coming our pretty quickly, which was great because we were hungry. The Brussels were to die for and they were served with this delicious sauce. The ceviche was okay but great flavors. The chicken Sammy was good and though our drinks took a while to come out, they were good.
Though I felt like I made it extremely easy for our server, she somehow forgot (??? I gave her a literal list) to ring in the two items that we came to Lady Luck originally for, the empanadas and the steak frites. I was really disappointed, and somewhat perturbed that she read from a list, and still forgot, seems ridiculous to me and I was reallly excited for a new, hip, fun, delicious restaurant in Raleigh, and unfortunately was completely let down, and made it out without either of the dishes I wanted to partake in.
As a fellow high end Raleigh server, I would say if they get their service team together and create the correct steps to service, they have a shot to make it but the server we had was incredibly weak, and I felt as though she didn’t represent Lady Luck, or servers In the Raleigh area, well at all.
I was planning on bringing family and friends that visit the area, but I think we will stick to Royale, Brewery Bhavana, Bida Manda, Beasleys, and Café Luna ínstead. Thank you for the experience. Really liked the vibe!
