Besides Central Park, visit L&L Hawaiian Barbecue in the vicinity. The menu of Hawaiian cuisine under the direction of the great chef is gorgeous at this place. You will be offered perfectly cooked grilled chicken, pasta salads and katsu.
This bbq provides food delivery for the convenience of its customers. Employees are friendly that's what makes L&L Hawaiian Barbecue so good. People mention that the service is prompt here. Good prices are what you will pay for your meal. When inside, the atmosphere is cool. But google users haven't given this place a high rating.

I like L&L Hawaiian Barbecue which is the reason we ordered from this restaurant chain, but the location on 3rd Avenue in San Mateo was not good. My coworker went directly to the restaurant to put in a large order for our team in advance. When my coworker arrived, she encountered a mean, rude woman and was treated poorly with an attitude. She asked politely if she could provide a detailed list with names tied to the order and if the staff can help label the boxes. The woman told her this is not for catering and we cannot do that. She understood that they may be too busy to do that (restaurant was practically empty at lunch time), but it was her tone of voice that was alarming. We decided to put in an advance order, but on the day we picked up our order, the boxes were squished, our food was overcooked and not as appetizing as it normally would be. We were very disappointed and it was quite embarrassing feeding our team this Hawaiian food that we boasted about. We will not visit this location ever again, but we will drive out farther to another L&L in hopes that the staff are professional, respectful, nice and the food tasted better.
