My husband and I travel all over the country, and this is hands down the best coffee shop we have ever been to. The creative seasonal coffee drinks, the incredible baked goods, the Amish cinnamon rolls, the beesprout bread, the dinner rolls, the olive oil granola, the pies, the cakes, the scones, the fresh flowers, the chandeliers, the customer service! Wanted to try Louie and Honey's Kitchen in Winston-Salem after reading a review on the cinnamon rolls. The place is located in a very cute area of the city near Hanes Park. The place is well decorated and pleasing to the eye. The staff promptly greeted me upon entry and was helpful in making a choice.. which was going to be easy. Cinnamon roll does indeed live up to the billing but is very rich and deserves two sittings to finish. Talked into a rice crispy treat as well that was half the size of a brick. It was dense but had good flavor to it. Sat and enjoyed the ambiance of the place as I tried my food and was very relaxing. Place makes drinks as well, so a one-stop shop for sure. Lots of other desserts to choice from and even a quiche. Worth the stop in for sure.
