Had such a wonderful experience at Le Calamar. Honestly, every dish we ordered was excellent, not a single miss. The ambience strikes that perfect balance of elevated and comfortable, and the staff was genuinely kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout the night. You can tell a lot of care goes into every part of the experience. Already looking forward to coming back! What a wonderful restaurant. Every dish is thoughtfully prepared, with delicate, well-balanced flavors. The stuffed chicken wings are exceptional, and the crawfish risotto is absolutely outstanding. 100% recommend. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Stunningly good food. Simple dishes prepared with perfect technique and immaculate ingredients. Service was excellent. Our server Daniel was awesome. Kind, knowledgeable, mellow guy and he made us feel like we were guests in his home. A casual but refined experience. We had tuna cru, impossibly fresh, complex but not confused. Gnocchi parisienne, heavenly clouds of of rich Potato, a little bit crispy on the outside that then melt in your mouth. A perfect petit steak with fresh horseradish, a lovely touch, cooked perfectly. And surprisingly the standout was chicken vin jaune, an beautiful crisp skin and a sauce that is tangy, creamy, and addictive. This is one of the best restaurants in town. A reminder that perfect food does not have to be complicated or to reinvent the wheel. Sometimes tradition and technique and just the right thing.
