I've just had my first bad food experience in Rome. Rude staff and bad food. Guanciale in the carbonara was way undercooked. It was just chunks of cold fat that had not been rendered and no flavor (how?). My girlfriend had ravioli with dried out ricotta and a sad excuse for 'caviar sauce'. The staff (especially the grey haired tattooed waiter) was very rushed and unfriendly. I had to ask 4 times to pay the check, waited for 40 minutes in total to get it and eventually had to step inside and stop him to be able to pay. Would not recommend.

Last night we had dinner at Le Tavernelle if you are blessed to have Errigo as your server he will not disappoint! Very humorous and welcoming guy, especially even if you aren’t from Italy. Me & My Wife felt so welcomed to be there and the food was amazing! We had Risotto alla Prescatora and Fettuccine Bolognese. Both amazing dishes, I can highly recommend eating here when staying the Monti neighborhood. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
