We went to Leewin for our Xmas party , we started with a wine tasting downstairs hosted by Jeanette followed by an amazing 6 course lunch on deck. Annalisa was our hostess and she was fantastic, the food , the wine , the location is 5 stars . Thanks to all staff there

Food was decent, but not mindblowing. However, service was what was mind-blowingly abysmal. Nobody should ever have to sit through a 3 course meal for 2.5 hours, largely due to the poor service in clearing plates and ensuring the next course is served. I would say that we finish each course in 10 mins or tops 15 mins. At one point, while waiting for our mains, we noticed another table had their mains, finished and had even finished their desserts. When I queried for the waiter to check on our mains, I was met with "No, it would take 15 to 19 mins, so please wait". It made me second guess my timing. On hindsight, when I looked into my phone timing between my entree and mains photos, it was 42 minutes. When I asked, I figured it was somewhere about the 30 minute mark. From there, it was just downhill spiral with the service. We counted many empty trips that the waiters walk past without clearing our plates and clearly was just passing by. Looking at the reviews on google, I guess that it was a common trend.

We had a very good dining experience at Leeuwin Estate Winery. We had the seasonal menu which is the Leeuwin Truffle Lunch with free flow of sparkling water. The dishes were specially curated and designed for the truffle season. We also had their estate’s wine. We highly recommend to try their wines. We forgot to take picture of the Petit Four, our mouths were faster than our photo taking.
