Taste French cuisine here. It's easy to find this bar due to the great location. Try nicely cooked galettes, salads and moules frites that are proposed at L'Escale En Arz. You can try good parfait, crepes and fruitcake. Delicious wine is the right choice. This place is famous for great coffee.

I know this place not from staying here but from taking the ferry which departs and arrives right in front of it, and sometimes waiting for the ferry there. One of my trainees once forgot a bag of her things at the ferry landing, not knowing what to do, I called them up and asked if they could go out and look for her bag. The lady at reception immediately went outside and did so, retrieving my trainee's belongings, and placing them with the ferry crew on the next departing ferry, sparing us hours of back and forth and the cost of taking the ferry again and ruining the rest of our day. So I must thank the staff there for that. Otherwise I would recommend to anyone visiting the gulf of morbihan, as it is truly a supernatural place, even the druids thought so thousands of years ago as evidenced by all the tombs and ruins they have left behind. And if you do visit, I strongly suggest you stay at "l'escale", in the heart of the gulf: one can only imagine the hospitality is as wonderful as the setting. Service: 5

We just had lunch here and it was above all expectations! The veggie burger was amazing and the chicken salad really crispy and good. Would recommend!

L'Escale en Arz is a paradise, the food is divinely good, everything is very fresh despite the constraints of being on an island; the seafood was sumptuous, I particularly recommend the exceptionally soft Morbihan oysters (with little iodine). And the langoustines...! The hotel, and therefore the restaurant, are on the seafront, at water level, it's like a boat, a feast for the eyes. Welcoming and kind team. I can't wait to come back! as much for the island which is adorable as for this establishment and its table. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Great value
