Small choice of tasty dishes, local products, charming owners. Simple but friendly and pleasant place. Excellent cuisine. Remember to book! You will also find pretty 100% homemade postcards there. We visit the île d’Arz often and this time we took two friends from the USA. Even though it was a Thursday we were turned away from the first restaurant that we came across and the island was quite crowded as it was the middle of the summer vacation period. We had passed La Guitoune last year and thought that it was just a “buvette”. This time we found a modest menu offering grilled Breton sausage and French fries as well as salads with cheese (local “tomme d’île d’Arz) as well as a variety of drinks. We managed to get a table just vacated by a large group. We found the dishes well prepared and the service offered by a couple congenial. I would go back to this place again!
