Outstanding! We think this is one of the finest restaurants in Houston. It's small, intimate, and cozy. After the pandemic downsizing, it's now back up to nine tables, plus a few seats at the bar. What's still great and unchanged here is the food and the service. Over the past 20 years we've had just about every dish they have ever offered, and I have posted several detailed reviews. A couple with whom we dine out several times a year, who are more expert gourmands than we will ever be assert that the Lexington Grille's ordinary (and inexpensive) chicken dishes are all better than meals they have eaten in Michelin starred restaurants. Call a few days ahead and have them make potato soup (bisque) for you; they will. Try it! Better yet, call and ask them to fix something not on their regular menu. The owner works on site almost every night we've ever been there. Weeknights (and sometimes Saturday) are usually not crowded, but DO make reservations. Call ahead for the specials, and if it's any fish or chicken dish, jump on it! Parking: Professional valet and guard.
