That is my first visit to Lucia Pizza Of Avenue X. Since it was opened I was passing by frequently and was curious about food they serve. The place looks nice, casual and cozy. By the time I came in for lunch they have variety of pizza and drinks. They even offer several options of wine . Spinach and mushroom ( Poblano Funghi) pies caught my attention. The dough was thin and enough crispy. The spinach filling I mistook for pesto because of its appearance but it was smooth and tasty and I liked it more than the mushroom. Poblano Funghi has too much everything on it. Chopped parsley and shredded cheese were added as extra plus after pizza piece was heated. For me it was just too many ingredients not really working together. The star of Poblano Funghi are mushrooms and their taste should not be blended by extra cheese and fresh parsley. But I believe someone will like it the way it is. As a treat I got magnet on the fridge. Overall I definitely enjoyed pies and will come back.
