Food was okay, portions on the smaller side and lacking in a punch of flavour. My chicken katsu bao bun had hardly any chicken and was just deep fried batter with some mayonnaise, not quite like the gochugang sauce the menu stated. Service was also underwhelming, my waitress was sassy and had an attitude, was not very welcoming and looked miserable. Also isn’t overly cheap so value for money was also on the lower side. We enjoyed the restaurant’s ambience and sat at the bar. We ordered two drinks and three dishes. The lemonade was lukewarm due to a broken ice machine. The food arrived 10 minutes apart despite being one of the few guests. The food was good but forgettable. The bartender’s actions were concerning. He prepared a pot of tea for another guest, noticed an ingredient was off and poured the remainder into the pot. He then used another bottle (same ingredient) with a smoother consistency, indicating the first was defective. He knew the ingredient was off as he smelled it and made a disgusted face. He then served the drink. As a hospitality professional, I find this unacceptable. Management should educate their staff on food safety and hygiene. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
