The room where we slept was very nice, we had a beautiful bath with a view over the dunes. Hygiene is great and the dog is welcome. We also stayed for dinner; I really can't recommend this here. After taking an order once, you will not see any service again for the entire evening, it takes a very long time before the food is served and the portions are very mediocre. We have kindly criticized the service, which is always laughed off. When I read several reviews it appears that this is a recurring problem, it is a pity that the Lulworth Cove Inn does not do anything with the recommendations and comments Rooms: 5 Service: 4 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet

We've been here a few times over the years and the quality of food and service is always at a high level. We ate out of the main food times so we could just walk in but all the tables around us were reserved for the evening, so consider booking for then. Dogs are very welcome in the eating areas. Great selection of food and drinks and it arrived hot and tasted really good. Staff were friendly and helpful. The inn is always a welcome sight after a long hike. Service: 5 Location: 5

Dreadful service. No food after over an hour of waiting (with 2 small hungry children), and no apology or acceptance of responsibility so we left.
