If you feel hungry after visiting Saint Peter's Italian Church, have a meal at this restaurant. The Sri Lankan cuisine is nice at Machan Kitchen Farringdon. Offering nicely cooked fish curry, prawns and goat curry is the unique characteristic of this place.
Most guests point out that the staff is terrific. The professional service displays a high level of quality at this spot.

Despite its excellent ratings and reviews, this place was unfortunately a bit of a letdown for me. As a fan of Sri Lankan food, I was really excited to try it, but it just didn’t live up to the hype. The décor is beautiful, the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, and the customer service was exceptional. Unfortunately, the food was quite bland compared to what I expected. The kottu we ordered was sticky and a little watery, and overall the flavours didn’t resemble the authentic Sri Lankan dishes I’ve enjoyed at many other restaurants. The drinks were also quite watered down. Perhaps it’s better suited to a different palate, but it just didn’t hit the spot for me. Overall, while the service and ambience were excellent, I don’t think it’s somewhere I’d return for the food. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Glad we booked a sthia was a busy little spot. Tasty foods all round. No mutton rolls which was a shame, however that aside, all plates licked clean and we rolled out stuffed and delighted! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a brilliant meal with friends. Some of the party had not eaten in a Sri Lankan restaurant before and the food was a hit with everyone. The hoppers, cashew curry, wildings and bitter gourd salad were favourites on our table.
