The hotel is wonderful, located in a quiet area of Platanias, Rethymno. the receptionist Alexandra was incredibly welcoming and provided great service. The hotel features a great breakfast, a nice pool that is perfectly adequate, and a lovely beach (though you will need water shoes). The beachfront restaurant is also absolutely delicious. Keep in mind that due to the hotel's linear design, rooms located closer to the road require a bit of a walk to reach the beach. If you are staying on the second floor, you will also need to use the stairs daily. This layout might not be ideal if you prefer quick, effortless access to the water or have mobility concerns.

The staff were very friendly. The hotel is in a good location, close to the sea. However, there was one thing that I found inconvenient. If your room is located far from the sea, you have to go through the reception area from the parking lot and then walk through the entire hotel to get to your room. The same applies in the evening when the hotel closes the gates: you can no longer access the sea directly from your room. To get to the sea or return to your room, you have to go through the reception area and walk through the entire hotel again. This is quite inconvenient, especially if you just want to quickly go to the sea or return to your room. Apart from that, the staff were very pleasant and the hotel is in a really good location.

We had a fantastic experience at Marinos Beach Hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, while the service was excellent and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The location is beautiful and convenient, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Everything was well organized, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend Marinos Beach Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable, and memorable holiday. We would happily come back again!
