We had a lovely dinner at Markakis restaurant this evening. It’s a large venue with plenty of tables, both undercover and outside overlooking the beach. No booking was required for an early dinner (6 pm in September). We enjoyed the saganaki, steamed mussels, and prawn saganaki for entrees, followed by the fisherman’s linguine and grilled gouna for mains, paired with a local Paros white wine. The staff were lovely and the service was fast. Thank you! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €50+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Staff were simply rude. We visited as a family for the 2nd time, had a great meal, we were polite and complimentary, had starters and main courses, asked to order a drink after our meal but were ignored. The restaurant wasn’t busy. The male staff were hostile, beligerent and made us feel as though we were unwelcome. Reluctant to give us our card receipt when we hadn’t even been given the bill we requested. Recommend you go to the lovely Kima’s next door where the service is exceptional.
