El Marlin Azul is truly a hidden gem.** I come here all the time—great food, great prices, and consistently amazing quality. I’ve been wanting to try something new, but I always end up ordering the shrimp ceviche because it’s just *that* good. So many restaurants overdo the lime, but El Marlin Azul has the perfect balance—fresh, flavorful, and not overpowering. The place is always crowded, which is a great sign. I randomly found this spot while walking around downtown, and it’s been my go-to ceviche place ever since. Just a heads up: **they only accept cash.** And if they’re full, be patient—take a 10-minute walk around Centro and come back. You won’t regret it.The place is small and maybe not as aesthetically pleasing as some people prefer, but in my opinion, those are usually the best restaurants. Don’t knock it until you try it.
