Having seen St. John Cantius Church, it's time to have a rest at this bar. You can have nicely cooked lemon bars, pies and filet américain at Matchbox Bar. It's nice to order delicious gin martini, margaritas or gin. Some visitors like good espresso or great juice at this place.

Folks were nursing drinks and chatting quietly inside, just like me. The bartender managed to remember everyone's order and kept the atmosphere really welcoming, even though it was pretty busy. It's a relief when the staff actually seem to care. Rolled into Matchbox Bar on Ogden after work, tiny vintage joint, super cozy vibes. I ordered two margaritas and a vodka gimlet, spent about $25 pre‑tip. Bartenders were chill but a tad brusque, felt a bit rushed on a weeknight. Space’s snugness is part of the charm though. Solid spot for a quick buzz, would’ve given five, but service could've been warmer.
