We came across this place after the amazing tram journey up from Trieste. It’s the first restaurant you come across and they clearly take advantage of this fact. The waitress was pushy, not listening to what we wanted but trying to persuade us to try other food. The food, when it came, was not good at all, the lettuce in our salads had not been cleaned properly, the chicken was clearly yesterday’s leftovers, I could go on but I’ll leave it there suffice it to say avoid this place at all costs, I am reluctant to give it even one star. Also the bill came to €97 for 3 mediocre salads, 3 small portions of chips, a portion of mediocre gnocchi, and a few drinks. I recommend that you go to the station coffee bar where they serve very good coffee and pastries at a sensible price. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30

Buongiorno, i nostri gnocchi sono fatti in casa dal 1934 e siamo famosi anche per quello, non avete mangiato un contorno di insalata ma 3 insalatone di cui 2 col pollo ( fresco ) un vitello tonnato, 4 patatine fritte svariate bibite in lattina e acqua. Eravate in 6 (6 coperti) e avete speso 97 (16.16 euro a testa) meno di un MC Donalds, quindi prima di scrivere cose prive di veritá siete cortesemente pregati di essere almeno obiettivi. Grazie Prossima volta magari vi sazierete con i dolcetti buoni dei nostri amici del tram di Opicina.
