My husband is super picky when it comes to Mexican food, but this place went above and beyond! The food was absolutely delicious, the portions were huge, and we couldn’t even finish the burrito and torta we ordered. We’re not from around town, but this spot was definitely worth the stop. Highly recommend if you’re looking for amazing food and great portions! Meal type: Brunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Habanero Sauce, California Burrito

Max’s knows exactly what they are doing when it comes to not only food truck operation, but Mexican food as well. I don’t normally opt for Carne Asada because most place don’t season it well, overcooked it to be super chewy, and leave in tons of gristle that is inedible. Max’s nails it on both their breakfast and lunch burritos, and their carne asada fries. I work right around the corner, and while it’s embarrassing to think it, I’ve eaten her 5 times this year alone. A massive 10$ breakfast burrito is hard to beat. I’ve also tried a quesabirria taco, and an al pastor, both of which were chefs kiss. The location is odd, tucked away behind a car wash off empire, but this is the kind of place you don’t want to miss if you live in Bend, or need food on the go just visiting. The fivest of five star reviews. Also, the staff is super friendly, and the food comes out in well under 10 minutes, hot and fresh. Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5
