Cafe Mai on Stolbovaya Street. Despite the fact that the cafe is small in number of seats, the menu is quite worthy of a first-class restaurant. Next to Cafe Mai, on the same street there are many restaurants, good ones, judging by the reviews. Here is a new original neighborhood, a trendy place, which in Kazan is sometimes called: Kazan Patriki, by the distant similarity to Moscow Patriki, known to us by Patriarch's Ponds, the restaurant Maryivanna and the TV series Unprincipled. Patriki is Moscow's analog of Parisian Montmartre or London's Soho: bohemian, ironic, slightly passof and with history. If you want to feel the spirit of modern Moscow, you should take a walk through its alleys. Also on Stolbova Street near the mini park there is its own version of Patricks, small, but it has room to grow. Let's go back to the cafe. The desserts are moderately sweet. The menu has been expanded, there are more interesting dishes. The coffee selection is great. Large mugs, good portions, different flavors. From the minuses. They take a long time to prepare drinks. For example, cocoa was cooked for 15 minutes. And there are remarks to the layout of some dishes, for example, it is not quite convenient to eat shakshukka when bread is laid on top of the dish. It is probably better to serve bread in a separate plate or basket. The dishes are delicious, we recommend to try different ones, you can feel that the chef is of high level.
