It was busy for a late lunch at Easter Monday, but maybe that is good. As recently introduced, table service and good customisation of the menu items. Atmosfeer as you would expect from a fast food outlet, music and children about. Functional but certainly not conducive for 'happy meal'. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Alright, so I'm practically a card-carrying member of the McDonald's Frequent Fryer Club. It all begins, as many epic tales do, with the sacred breakfast ritual. Now, depending on my escape velocity from the house each morning, McDonald's Wyboston is conveniently (or inconveniently, as you'll see) the first pit stop on my grand tour of well, just getting to work. But let me tell you, with my hand on a stack of Big Macs, that particular branch is vying for the title of "Nation's Biggest Culinary Catastrophe," and believe me, I've seen a few in my travels. Picture this: six out of ten times, my order is less "what I wanted" and more "a surrealist interpretation of my desires." We're talking opposite day in a drive-thru. Missing items are so frequent, it's practically their signature move. Honestly, I suspect they're training for the World Mispick Olympics. This morning's saga? I craved a Double Bacon & Egg McMuffin, and they presented me with a Double Sausage & Egg. Sausage! The horror! This evening brought a new low. Uber Eats to the rescue (or so I thought). We ordered a glorious feast: a Large Chicken Big Mac meal, a Large Big Arch meal, and a humble cheeseburger. What arrived was a cheeseburger looking lonely and a Medium Chicken Big Mac feeling inadequate. And the fries? Oh, the fries. Ordering a large is basically a charitable donation to the potato gods, because you're getting a small, half-empty box. I'm not kidding, I've reported them to Trading Standards – it's THAT cheeky. McDonald's, please, I'm begging you, stage an intervention at the Wyboston branch! I get they might be a franchise, but your golden arches are taking a beating here!
