So on a Monday night for dinner you order food and the service is so poor that everyone’s effort in conjunction made sure we had a bad experience. We arrived at 8 pm didn’t get a pizza until 9:07 pm. Wings arrive tasting like they were reheated only 5 mins after we got our food. This bad experience makes me appreciate my usual spot.. you get your food within a reasonable time and the food is always damn consistent in the best way. Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Great experience overall! We were seated promptly, had an attentive server, and really enjoyed the food. My one beverage wish: it would be fantastic if they added Athletic Brewing’s Upside Down (gluten-removed) to their NA beer lineup. The one thing that would genuinely affect whether I return is the patio seating — the metal chairs scraping across the concrete throughout the evening was relentless. Simple rubber tips on the chair legs would make a world of difference for the ambiance and for guests with sensory sensitivities. It’s a small, inexpensive fix with a big impact. Would love to come back once that’s addressed! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Mellow Mushroom Wake Forest is a great place to get customized pizza at a reasonable price. Excellent service and a delicious selection of menu items. A best choice for neighborhood pies. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50
