A fantastic Italian restaurant! The chef serves an omakase menu of Italian dishes, some with a bit of Asian influence. For example, one of the starters was a pani puri stuffed with ricotta and orange marmalade, and the second pasta dish was spaghetti with whitebait, Sichuan chili and peperoncino. All the dishes were executed superbly and silky delicious! The chef and wait staff spoke very good English, so communication was easy and no problem at all. They were also very friendly and welcoming. The decor was cosy and comfortable (I was seated at the chef’s counter). This was one of the best meals I ate on my trip. I will definitely revisit Merachi next time I’m in Tokyo! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ¥10,000+
