If you’re visiting Shkodër, do yourself a favor and stop here. M’Kana offers an impressive selection of vegan flavors (and regular ones as well), and the staff were wonderful: kind, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Now for the ice cream itself Wow. I’ve been tried vegan gelato in many places, but this was easily one of the best I’ve ever had. I chose the dark chocolate and pistachio flavors, and both were exceptional. The dark chocolate was rich and intensely flavorful, while the pistachio was on another level entirely. If pistachios naturally came in a creamy, frozen form, this is exactly what they would taste like. Smooth, rich, satisfying, and packed with real pistachio flavor. No compromise here. It was simply outstanding ice cream, vegan or not. Highly recommended.

The signature affogato was surprisingly affordable and absolutely delicious. The orange-flavoured vanilla ice cream added a wonderful touch and made it truly exceptional.

M’kanda Gelateria in Shkodër is a great spot for quality gelato and desserts, located in the main tourist area. Everything tastes fresh and well made and their affogato is a must-try. Perfect for a sweet and relaxing break while exploring the city.
