Great first experience at Momo and will absolutely return. I ordered the yellowtail nigiri, yellowtail belly nigiri, spicy yellowtail roll, and fatty tuna roll (daily special). Both types of nigiri were fabulous though I personally liked the yellowtail belly over the yellowtail. The fatty tuna roll was the surprise star of all four, desiring me to seek this out more frequently. *Due to the Corona Virus (COVID19) Pandemic, this review specifically shares the Take Out experience when dine in services were not available.* Momo Sushi & Cafe is located in the Alexandria Downtown/King Street area near the park. Because of the location, Momo Sushi & Cafe is not directly in the hustle and bustle of King Street allowing for more street parking options nearby. Each week, we enjoy date night and once a month we seek out a new sushi place. Momo Sushi & Cafe popped up as an establishment offering Take Out options. To order our Take Out, we opted to review the menu on their website and order via telephone. The employee answering the phone was very polite, double checked our order, and received payment via telephone. It took us approximately thirty minutes to arrive at Momo Sushi & Cafe. By the time we arrived our sushi was ready to go! Take Out orders are received through the front window to reduce contact with customers (keeping staff and patron safety in mind). Our order was beautiful and fresh! Spicy items were tastefully seasoned making the spice enjoyable rather than painful. Thanks to Momo Sushi & Cafe, we were able to enjoy our date night to go. Due to the Corona Virus (COVID19) Pandemic, we were unable to enjoy the dine in ambiance but the quality of the sushi makes me believe Momo Sushi & Cafe will be a pleasant experience once dine in services are able to continue!
