This restaurant was the lowlight of our time in Almaty. Absolutely abysmal food in the tackiest atmosphere I’ve ever seen. The place was justifiably empty, and the staff didn’t know what to do with us. Enormous speakers blasted bass-heavy music, interrupted by phone notifications every 30 seconds. We waited so long for my duck order that half the group left for our hotel to go to sleep, and then we waited another 45 minutes until we threatened to walk out. They finally gave it to us as carry-out. I get home, curious to open my box to see what could have taken so long. 4 chunks of duck, no sides, and a syrup sauce. Nearly 2 hours to prepare this. Avoid at all costs. I give the service 2/5 stars just because one waiter was particularly apologetic. Too bad he was the only one in the restaurant who gave any thought to customer service.
