The service from my server was great, and the person at the entrance who seated me was also very pleasant. The food was okay, but unfortunately, the overall experience was negatively affected by the behavior of some employees. Several employees were sitting near the entrance, talking extremely loudly and joking around while customers were dining. They were loud enough that I could barely hear the conversation at my own table. They were also blocking the walkway, making it uncomfortable for customers trying to pass through. I understand that employees can have fun and interact with each other, but there is a time and place for that. When customers are trying to enjoy their meal, employees should be mindful of their volume and behavior, especially while on the clock. I hope management addresses this issue because it significantly affected what could have otherwise been a pleasant dining experience. My server and the employee who seated me were both excellent, so this review is specifically about the employees whose behavior disrupted the atmosphere. I love hangning out in Monte Alban. The food is delicious and great for the price. The people that work there are fast and friendly. I love the art and cleanliness of the business. From the tables to the bathrooms, not once did I get the ick. I have eaten here 6 times, always something new and each time I love the dish. I live closer to other mexican style restaurants and I pass them to eat here. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
