If you’re looking for authentic Filipino dishes, Musang is not the place. We were a group of 6 coming in for Saturday brunch. We were seated without reservation. The hostess & owner was very hospitable, and the server was very friendly. We are a big group so we ordered a variety of silogs offered. The chicken tocino didn’t taste like the tocino we are accustomed to. It tasted like chicken Mang Inasal (grilled chicken). Moist and tender but not tocino taste. The longanisa came as a ground meat patty. The daing na bangus is the most authentic of all the silogs. The tapa was mid. We had their ube french toast that had a purple cream topping which didn’t taste like ube at all. Lastly, the bibingka waffle is just a regular waffle. Not sure how bibingka plays in as it didn’t taste anything like bibingka. We wanted to like the food and expectations were high, but sadly it disappointed. The atmosphere and staff are great, but not the food. Price per person: $50–60 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
