If you happen to be around Arte Italia, visit this cafe. My Favorite Muffin has perfectly cooked breakfast sandwiches, breakfast bagels and bagel sandwiches listed on the menu. Good blueberry muffins are so delicious here that they will surely become one of your favorite dishes. Delicious iced coffee, smoothies or French coffee are waiting for you at this place.
The intimate atmosphere of this spot allows visitors to relax after a hard working day. The attentive staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. The spectacular service is its considerable plus. Pay low prices for eating at this cafe. In accordance with the guests' opinions, the decor is lovely. 3 times my order just hasn't made it back to the kitchen, and I just sat there.... And I think I'll keep getting coffee but wasted so much time for food that was never coming

I’ve been a longtime customer of My Favorite Muffin on California Ave, and I’ve always enjoyed the food—especially the muffins. Unfortunately, my most recent visit left me feeling extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. I’ve brushed off subtle issues in the past, but this last experience really stood out. I believe it was the manager who was assisting me, and from the moment I approached the counter, her demeanor was noticeably unfriendly. While I was ordering, she rolled her eyes and stared me down in a way that felt very disrespectful. She was also the one preparing drinks, and while I waited, I noticed she called out other customers by name. However, when my order was ready, she abruptly shouted the order number instead—and again rolled her eyes in my direction. As I continued waiting, I couldn’t help but observe a clear difference in how other customers were being treated compared to myself. This experience left me with serious reservations about spending my money here moving forward. Based on what I observed, it’s hard not to question whether there is a deeper issue with how certain customers—particularly people of color—are treated. To others in the POC community, I would just say: be aware that you may not receive the same level of kindness or respect when visiting. I truly hope this feedback is taken seriously, because this establishment has the potential to be a welcoming place for everyone—but that was not my experience.
