Came here feeling a little stressed after reading some of the recent reviews, but I’m happy to say our experience was excellent. Everything was exactly what we’ve come to expect from Nando’s—fresh, hot, and full of flavour. The service was outstanding, and a special thank you to Srijana and Rommie for being so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They made our visit even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back! Pretty disappointed really. I eat regularly at Nandos all over the North island and this is the first time I have had a negative experience which is disappointing. The staff on the night didn’t really seem interested in serving me and I waited at the counter for some time to be served. The staff noticed me but continued chatting amongst themselves which again is not like any other store I have been to. I ordered some chicken the cheesy nan and the Mediterranean salad. It l took a long time for the food to come out and when it did it was average at best. The chicken was fine but the bread was stone cold and the salad looked like it was made yesterday. The cut ends of the lettuce were all brown and it was stale and inedible. Really disappointed and considering the amount of competition around this location it really needs to do better. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: NZ$30–40 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

I'm so bummed about Nando's Rotorua. We got 4 whole chickens with 6 sides of chips and a salad. They only gave us 3 bowls of chips and said they didn't have enough, so they put two portions together in one bowl. We ordered large chips, but the bowl looked tiny. When I told them, they just brushed it off and didn't care. The salad tasted weird, and some of the chicken was undercooked. I'm never going back there if we're ever in Rotorua again. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
