Came for dinner and was extremely disappointed. I ordered the steak rare, which was $50. It came out almost well done. The vegetables on the side were soggy and drenched in butter. My sister ordered a salad which had lettuce so bitter she could not eat it. There was live music which was nice, however it was so loud I could not have a conversation with the person directly across the table from me. Safe to say I won’t be coming back.

I can highly recommend a stay at the native rose hotel !!! a very last minute decision to travel down 4 hrs from stroud to see a concert we were made welcome by the pub owner and shown our room. I can honestly say from many years experience travelling and staying in pub accommodation this is next level. from the freshly renovated clean rooms with modern trimmings to the comfortable bedding and warm plush carpets linking the rooms to the renovated bathrooms you will not be disappointed. a huge thumbs up from this dad and daughter rocknroll trip ps......I'll bring the boss next time and get to order my chicken snitty
