I have a lot of respect for the marketing behind “Neapolis”. All seems right, quite a lot of people waiting for a place in a small, well dressed restaurant breathing quite some nice loose atmosphere. The waitresses are nice and helpful and the menu looks decent and simple Italian. But then……the food. A Zupa Pommodoro which comes straight out of a bottle of passata, dressed up with 2 useless basil leaves. No accompanying slice of bread! A Caprese Salad with cheap, half raw tomatoes and mozarello from the infamous industrial yellowish rolls, totally tasteless and a shame for a Caprese salad. A very mediocre pizza with the same cheap yellow rubberish “cheese”. Ambiance an 8, but the quality of the food a shameful 4. Never more! Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
