Sadly Nell's is no longer with us. It has been retired to the building across the street. Chef Phil and crew have had an excellent 26 year run here. One of the few restaurants where every single meal has been outstanding. Ranks right up there with French Laundry, Per Se, Daniel NYC, Rovers, Guy Savoy, and Joel Robuchon in my opinion. We will miss it. Service team lead by Skye always treated us like VIPs. Hope the new owner doesn't make too many changes. Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Dear Brian, Thank you so much for your loyalty! I and the entire Nell’s staff (Skye, Mark, Gabriel etc) would like to welcome you to Fotini (the new Nell’s). Rest assured, we are NOT changing the menu; you will continue to enjoy the onion tart, Saleh’s calamari, Risotto and all the dishes that have been loved by many customers in the past decade. We’ll be open on Sunday, 7/05. Come and see all the familiar faces (only one new face:-)! Ethan

Feels like you're stepping back in time. The whole restaurant oozes nostalgia; from the waiters who have been there for 10+ years, the customers that have dined for just as long and the decor that has not changed probably since opening day. I'm tired of seeing new restaurants pop up and the decor being bland and sterile. The food was great. One of the better steaks I've had in a long time. Will definitely come back and try other things on the menu. Delicious! Great food, wine, service. Try the venison. Went with 7 coworkers and we could hear each other. A delight. Went again last night and had another great experience. The Lillet Cocktail was a lovely Spring cocktail and the Halibut was delicious. Price per person: $90–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Calamari
