The service is excellent and food is fresh, tasty and in good size. The Mongolian beef and chicken with mushrooms are my family’s favorites. The sesame balls and boneless spare ribs are also beyond our expectations. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My husband and I just came from dinner at New Pan Asian and the food was absolutely wonderful. After 20 years living in Manhattan, this really reminded us of classic Manhattan Chinese takeout (in the best way). It’s more of a takeout spot, but they kindly accommodated us when we asked to eat in. No frills—just amazing food. Generous portions too—we have lots of leftovers. We’ll definitely be back. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
