Time to update my review. I've been coming to New South Brewing for about 4 years now. I frequent the Myrtle Beach area in the winter & this is by far my favorite brewery! There is no food, but the beer & the staff are wonderful, not to mention the atmosphere. This coming from someone who gave up beer a couple of years ago, but I always make exceptions here. If you like truly good beer, definitely give it a try. There's a reason they're still around after 25 years!

I was not very impressed by this place. When you pull up the parking lot has a gate with barbed wire that makes you feel you're not in the best areas. It's not really a very friendly brewery feeling. The beer is ok. They will sell you a sample of you want to try the beer before buying cans. The tasting room has limited seating and is basic. There are other breweries nearby that are more welcoming and have better beer.
