I only found this place a couple of days before my time in Kyoto ended. My experience with gluten-free in the past is that it just doesn’t taste very good. Not here! The almond flour bread of my egg sandwich was light, fluffy and delicious. IMO, better than many gluten breads I’ve had. This is a lovely, family-owned business. I’d much rather support a place like this than a large chain. This is now my favorite restaurant in Kyoto! I felt so welcomed! Even if you don’t follow a gluten-free diet, there is something delicious for you here. And you get to support actual people instead of a corporation. Win!
