While staying at the Westin, I decided to try drinks, dinner and dessert. Ordered a strawberry alcoholic concoction that was delicious, seared scallops with mushroom risotto and the mascarpone cheesecake. All were delicious and reasonably priced for the area.

While my husband and I stayed at The Westin Crystal City we had dinner twice at this restaurant located in their lobby. The first night we had eaten at the restaurant and we thought the food and service wasn't good. We had a cesar salad which was okay, spinach and artichoke dip which wasn't good because it was mostly cream, and a chocolate molten lava cake which was not a lava cake. We decided to try this restaurant again because we were exhausted from walking around the national mall all day. The second time we ate from this restaurant was by room service and the food and service was excellent! I had the spaghetti and meatballs (without the meatballs) and it was delicious! My husband had the steak and fries, and the steak was cooked perfectly! The only other complaint that I have was that the prices were insane, but the food was good!

Nutrio Bar Located within the Westin Hotel in Arlington VA. Cuisine: Cocktails and Snacks Hours of operation: Daily: 11:30 AM - 11:30 PM While staying at the Westin I have found the Nutrio Bar to be a very convenient place to grab a late night snack or cocktail, as well as  a place to unwind with friends or family after a long day. The staff has always been very courteous to me and on my most recent visit I know the bartender was waiting for us to finish so that he could close but he was not rude or impatient, he never made us feel rushed, allowing us to finish our appetizers and desserts (along with the Redskins game that a member of my group was watching.) The price points vary but everything is affordable, if you want something that will satisfy a group, and is inexpensive but also really good, try the "Ricotta Meatball" Served with tomato sauce and aged parmesan, the portion size is huge, it comes with toasted bread slices similar to a baguette. It was really good. (Order extra bread upfront, you will need it.) If you are in the mood for something lighter or something to accompany a nice glass of wine, I would recommend the smoked salmon flatbread with scallion crème fraiche, red onion and dill, it was very light yet full of flavor. There are so many choices that you really can't go wrong and the great thing is, your hotel room is right upstairs so you can feel free to indulge! The hotel also has a restaraunt for those looking for an actual entree'. Nutrio Restaurant Located within the Westin Hotel in Arlington VA.
