The location and ambiance were nice, but unfortunately, that was about the only positive experience I had. First, the food took forever to come out. I had to ask two different servers to check on my food because my actual server kept walking past our table and seemed to be avoiding us. By the time my food finally came, they were getting ready to close, so I ended up having to take it to go because I was already ready to leave. Then, when I actually ate the food, I was extremely disappointed. The jerk skewers had absolutely no flavor. It didn’t even taste like a jerk skewer it tasted like bland meat with jerk seasoning simply wiped on top. Even my drink was disappointing. Honestly, the entire experience was upsetting because the location and ambiance had so much potential, but the service and food completely ruined it for me and my date . I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone based on my experience. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $40–50

Oro is a staple in the Downtown Raleigh area! Delicious food, sensational service, and wonderful atmosphere! Dejah was our bartender and server and brought the life to the night. Will be back!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
