We had the smoked wings - i got the dry rub which was delicious and juicy for the most part. Restaurant itself didn't have the best AC so it felt a bit humid inside and everything was a bit sticky, including the tables and chairs and floors.

I can't say enough great things about this hidden gem in Raleigh. We go for brunch on the weekends as much as we can. The fantastic wings, ribs and other chef created dishes will get you hooked. You can thank me later for this recommendation. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Brunch

My husband and I are total foodies who just moved to Raleigh NC from Las Vegas NV, so we know good food. The SmokeStacks Cafe is a fun and funky little place with delicious food. We had the goat cheese espandad, ranch cheese puffs, and the bone sucking ribs (our description on the bone sucking part). We were in the area checking out the Halloween decorations in the Historic Oakwood Neighborhood and found this precious little find by accident. So glad we did! We are looking forward to going back to work our way down the menu. The SmokeStacks Cafe was such a delightful surprise in so many ways. Worth the trip to this little gem!
