I came here to celebrate my milestone 30th birthday solo, and it was, without a doubt, the best restaurant I have ever been to. Even though I was dining by myself, I never once felt alone because the staff was so incredibly engaging, warm, and interactive throughout the entire evening. Oro hasn't just earned its two Michelin stars, they deserve to keep them indefinitely. The flavours and dishes were art. Every single course was flawless, but what truly elevates this place to an 11/10 is the immaculate service. There is an entire army of staff who operate completely seamlessly. They went out of their way to speak perfect English, which they did not have to do in their own country, but it was deeply appreciated. The attention to detail is staggering. The servers carefully explained exactly what each dish was and recommended exactly how to eat it (whether with fingers, a spoon, or a fork) to get the best experience. They managed the table perfectly clearing plates immediately but "invisibly," always excusing themselves and never catching you off guard. To make the night even more special, they brought out a dessert with a little sparkler to celebrate, and offered to take a picture of me which I hadn’t even thought of and it was a great photo. By the end of it I was so full I wasn’t expecting to be since each dish was small but they add up, and on the way out, they completely surprised me with a beautiful dessert and a box of brigadeiros as a gift. It is spectacular in every sense of the word. Do not miss this. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R$200+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
