THE. BEST. GELATO. IN. ROME. At first, we were worried they might be taking advantage of the location since it’s just a stone’s throw from St. Peter’s Basilica. But honestly — not at all. The gelato is simply incredible. We tried lemon, forest berries, and biscuit, and every single one was amazing. And be careful: if you order the €6 portion, it could probably feed a bear. I’ve genuinely never seen a bigger serving of gelato. I’d definitely recommend stopping by on your way to the Vatican Museums and refreshing yourself with some of the best gelato we had the pleasure of trying in Rome. The service was perfectly fine, just make sure you know your flavors beforehand because you’ll want to say them all at once.

Old Bridge is one of my favorite gelaterias in Rome! First one is Rivareno, then la Romana then this one. The gelato is always fresh, creamy, and full of flavor. A great variety of flavors, and the quality is consistently excellent. The staff are friendly, and the location near the Vatican so you can just grab it and walk aroind. I highly recommend Old Bridge Gelateria!
